Connect Energy has integrated all of the
"balance-of-systems" items commonly needed to install a solar electric
system into one compact, easy to install package. The PC250 is UL Listed for
safety and is built to make the installation of a single inverter easier
than ever. Standard features include an advanced 60 Amp pulse width modulated (PWM) multi-stage charge controller, plus all of the AC and DC disconnects and overcurrent protection required by the National Electric Code (NEC). |
| Digital Metering The PC250 also comes standard with an integrated digital meter. With the touch of a button the PC250 displays the system's operational status on an illuminated LCD screen.

| Metering Options In addition to the digital display the PC250's standard configuration allows for easy installation of a meter to monitor Net-Amp hours. Includes 500Amp/50 mv shunt and remote terminal block wired for external meter. Other Amp hour meters can be installed by determining the Manufactures connections for Voltage Sense and Current at the remote terminal block. Advanced 60Amp PWM Charge Controller with PV Input Breaker Solid-state 60 Amp, microprocessor based pulse width modulated (PWM) charge control with multi-stage charging algorithms (Bulk, Absorb, Float). One 60 Amp PV input breaker with #1/0 AWG terminal lugs with two remaining DC breaker slots. Field configurable for 12, 24 or 48 volt operation. Field adjustable Bulk and Float set points plus factory calibrated defaults for Flooded Lead Acid, Sealed Gel or AGM batteries. Digital LCD, displays battery state of charge and system status. Additional status indicators show array charging and low battery. Automatic and manual equalization modes for flooded batteries. Protected against surges, reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature and overload conditions. Rated for continuous operation at 60 Amps. Automatic Nighttime Disconnect - Automatically disconnects the array from the battery at night to prevent back feeding of current through the array. No power-robbing diodes needed. Terminals provided for External Battery Voltage Sensing. |
AC Section with
Input/Output/Bypass Breakers 60 Amp AC inverter bypass configuration allows loads to be powered directly from external AC power source. System Integration Courier shippable powder coated enclosure, conduit ready with knockouts conveniently placed for easy mounting of the inverter. Current shunt/bonding block accepts #4/0AWG fine strand cable. Meets the NEC requirements for overcurrent protection and "means of disconnect".
